Today we got into groups and read a story called "The Jealous Father". We also answered questions about the story. Our group was called the Cultural Context Experts. I liked the story and enjoyed reading it. It taught me that we have family morals for a reason, we should never lie, cheat, or steal from our loved ones. It's hump day! We were halfway through the week.
Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.
A friend once told me, "Your story matters, even if you think it doesn't." This simple statement shifted my perspective and encouraged me to share my experiences more openly. They reminded me that everyone’s life has value and that sharing our stories can connect us and help others. It was a powerful affirmation of my experiences and feelings. Since then, I’ve been more open about my struggles and triumphs. This change has strengthened my connections with others and reinforced that our narratives are impactful, inspiring both myself and those around me.
